I’m intense. That’s just how I am. Ask anyone who knows me well, and they’ll probably laugh and nod. Or share a story or two. Or more.

I like to live fully and love deeply and discuss (well, maybe debate) fervently. I work hard and I play hard. I know what I know, and I also know that I know very little and want to always be curious and learn. I like to work up a sweat nearly each and every day and push myself to and past my limits. I lift heavy (for me, ultra-heavy) weights, and like to live in my power – physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. I like to have fun, to laugh, to joke, to smile, and to connect. I like to suck every bit of aliveness I can out of life.

So, needless to say, it resonated with me when my yoga instructor offered us this – “if you’re going to go in, go all in.” Give it all you’ve got.

I believe in giving it all I’ve got. All of it. The good, the bad, the hard, the easy, the fun, the challenges – I’m in. Life is too short – and too precious – to miss any of it.

I want to love deeper and laugh harder. I want to learn more and share more. I want to give – of myself, all I’ve got, to make a difference. I want to live wholeheartedly and passionately. To see new things, to discover new ideas, to bring the best out of others and help them (and me) find more joy and fun and power. I want to contribute, to guide, to follow, to relate, to grow, to develop, and to engage with my whole mind and heart and soul. I want to be my best me.

I’m going in, so I’m going all in.
